Experience Bali: what to see and do
Bali isn’t compared to paradise for nothing. The island is simply beautiful and there’s no better place to stake your place on the beach and crack a tinnie with your mates or girlfriends. Here are some ideas for your next holiday in Bali.
Bali essentials
Ubud: Ubud is the artistic centre of Bali and has some amazing artisan markets. You’ll leave this place wishing you had more space in your luggage! The food here is arguably the best on the island.
Jimbaran Bay: Bali is famous for its beaches but not all of them are safe for swimming. Jimbaran Bay however is a great place to swim, along the north coast. Beware of local swimming safety markers. Too many holidaymakers have drowned by ignoring these.
Hot springs: Bali have several hot springs, which are a lush way to spend the day. In Lovina, head to Air Banjar where the pools are set within the most beautiful gardens. Toya Bungkar near Lake Batur are also nice.
